As the students at Modelle finish their schooling the biggest challenge will be to help them begin farming on their own to support themselves in their ministry. They are wanting to raise their own pigs and chickens. The chickens, of course, can provide a steady source of protein, while the pigs can bring a handsome price at market.
The school farm is coming along nicely. The main focus during the month has been on helping the students to transition into their new works and prepare to be out on their own, and of course, making preparations for the hard-earned graduation ceremony.
The weekend evangelistic efforts have also continued. At least two souls have been baptized into Christ as a direct result. The school faculty have also been busy making plans to keep themselves busy on the school farm and construction projects to get the school on track to be fully self supporting.
